CDK Global and enquiryMAX take first steps in open approach to partnership

Today, CDK Global and enquiryMAX announce their partnership to integrate showroom technology with the Autoline Rev8 dealer management system (DMS). Following successful pilots in the UK, the collaboration builds the foundation of an exciting new direction for consumers and dealers. This is the first step in a new approach to partnership for CDK Global, building open platform technology to welcome collaboration and innovation across the industry.

Seamless customer experiences with smarter solutions

The integration gives consumers a personalised experience from the moment they arrive at the showroom. The customer records can now be synched directly from the DMS, so the salesperson no longer needs to re-capture the customer’s history. They have the information they need directly from the enquiryMAX application, helping to present a seamless consumer experience at the dealership. In addition, GDPR preferences can now be captured and automatically updated in the DMS.

The right car with the right specification

With this integration, dealers now have accurate vehicle stock data at their fingertips, so they can be confident in delivering a better car buying experience for customers. As a car is being configured, stock data is taken straight from the DMS, making sure that the offer can be created with exactly the right specifications from available stock. This applies to both new and used cars.

Save time, every time

As David Pay, Business Manager at Barretts Jaguar Land Rover, explains:

“We piloted the CDK Global enquiryMAX integration and found time savings to be the number one benefit.  On average, more than 10 minutes per car are saved, as the deal is configured and sent directly to the DMS from an iPad in the showroom. We have confidence in the data quality as it’s coming directly from the DMS. And the more time we save, the more quality time we can dedicate to our customers.”

A collaborative approach

Adrian Favill, Director of Technology at enquiryMAX, says: “By working together with CDK, we were able to harness the power of the DMS data to create a seamless consumer experience in the showroom. We’re delighted to be able to now offer customers this improved solution.”

Tim Hughes, Business Development Director at CDK Global, adds: “We are delighted to partner with enquiryMAX, as they share our view on the future direction of the automotive retail industry and the importance of collaboration. This partnership is the first step on our journey to create a more connected car buying and ownership experience in future.”
